To use WebMolecules, you must have:
- A modern Browser (e.g., Navigator 3, Explorer 4, or better)
- If Macintosh: PowerPC with Mac OS 7.5 or higher
- If PC: Pentium with Win 95/98/NT4 or higher
- JavaScript/Java enabled in your browser
- A 3D Viewer plug-in (see FREE Viewers)
- 16 MB RAM (bare minimum – may not work in all cases!)
- An Internet connection
- A graphics card/monitor capable of at least 256 colors (8-bit)
For best results, you should have:
- A new browser (e.g., Communicator 4, Explorer 5, or newer)
- Or IE 4 with the Service Pak 2 upgrade
- 32 MB of RAM or more
- A video resolution of 800×600 (SVGA) or greater
- A 16-bit (65,000+ colors) graphics card or better
- Cookies enabled in your browser (optional – simplifies navigation)
- For Macintosh: increase browser memory allocation to 9-15MB.
